Hi everyone,
I have been extremely busy with my other business and I am stuck on a Movie Shoot in California.
I wanted to take time to thank everyone for joining the Detroit Metro Investment Group. I am also pretty new to the Investment part of this, but I am taking action.
I work with a Hard Money Lender from the east coast which is setting me up with a line of credit to purchase homes for rehabbing. I am willing to share all information that I have if I am able to help someone like Dean and his team does for all of us each and every day.
I had mentioned that I have a team set up and ready to go in the Detroit Metro area. After visiting with each one of them two months ago, and driving around a city I was only familiar with over MSN Maps or Google Maps, I really had an eye opener.
I was looking at houses for $600 - $5000 to buy and rehab. But then I saw these homes and realized, it might be cheaper to build a new one on the property. Some were just not worth the time or effort. Even though some of the houses that I had looked at were workable, I had to change my strategy.
I had an appointment one morning with a Gentleman by the name of Mitch Davidson, which I had received his information through my Real Estate agent Scott Bohlen.
Well, Mitch had informed me of other cities around Detroit which are still nice and the people take pride in their communities like, Allen Park, River Rouge, Melvindale, Lincoln Park (yes the band is from Lincoln park) and many more.
After driving around, I fell in love with the areas. I looked at about 30 properties in 3 days. Did not make any deals while I was there, but I know the area a bit better now. This was the reason for changing my strategy.
I have read the books from Dean and they really inspired me. I have been in business on my own for almost 15 years internationally and I know now what I want to do. I am going to take action and take names later.
To close this out, I would like to share with you something that might be of interest. The latest pole that is up on the site. Don't be afraid of changes. Don't let friends or family hold you back because they would be scared of changes.Nae Sayers can really bust you down. Follower your dreams!!!

I have little savings, bad credit, and a not so secure job in the auto industry. I am looking to do some assignment deals in order to make some cash for future Real Estate dealings.
I am not new to the Real Estate business, but it has been a while. I have my Michigan Real Estate License, altough currently inactive, I did get it over 10 years ago just because I did want to be more of an investor than an actual agent. I have come into hard times and have no expendable cash plus I have two foreclosures on my record due to a recent seperation and impending divorce situation.
I am ready get moving!!!
