Hello Everyone!

Im looking to find the best REO deals in NJ. The first deal I plan to buy will be my own home, to build enough equity from the reno, live rent free, and to reinvest back into the next property. Does any one have a strategy for finding the best and new listed REOs that are within traveling distance to NYC? I need more information on getting these properties at a lot less than the banks are asking. I have a feeling values of locations in Jersey will rise over the next years given the overpopulation issues in NYC.

Congrats on being so young and having a goal. You are a rare breed for your age. I would like to give you a little tip that you may or may not agree with. My kids never have. LOL!! Don't make your first purchase your home. You would be better off trying to build some money up for yourself. Having cash in hand will talk when you want your own home. Think of it as buying a car, if you can pay cash for that car would that be to your bennefit? Find deals that will put cash in your pocket so you can pay cash for your new home. Just a thought, but my home is the only thing I have ever had to pay for my whole life. I am getting ready for retirement now and reality will be my retirement job. That way I won't have to mow lawns at a Golf course so I can golf for free. Good luck to you and may all your deal be good.

One thing to remember is to make the deals good for all parties involved. This will make things happen for you.

I live in Burl.Co. and would like to network with others in the area. I'm currently unable to attend REI clubs in person due to childcare conflict.
