what is going on, but someone FLAGGED my year old thread with the amazingly great video by Kent Clothier that had NO selling, it was an AMAZING video. I wish the person that thought it necessary to pull my thread would have WATCHED it. It is PHENOMENAL. There is NO selling, I posted it back in April of 2011 and SOMEONE FLAGGED it. This is the 2nd time my posts have been flagged, and this was a POWERFUL, INCREDIBLE message. I don't know the link. I don't know why these people are flagging my posts. This is very disturbing!!!!

LUCKILY I found the link to the story. This is about the 15 rules of success and its by a guy who failed horribly. There is ABSOLUTELY NO SELLING AT ALL anywhere in the video, but it will change your life. My wish would be for everyone that entered the contest and didn't get the top 2 spots (even the people that DID get the top 2 spots) would watch this video. I don't know why people want to take something like this down, it just isn't right. Anyhow, enjoy it, it is phenomenal. I put it up back in April of 2011 only to have the thread pulled now. Amazing!

One of the evaluators generously donated her partner seat to this contest, and this usually cannot be done but the extenuating circumstances surrounding what happened and why she doesn't have a partner are extremely unique. (This was a special circumstance, normally people CAN NOT take just anyone as a partner to the Edge, and this was NOT approved for other people; its usually a spouse or investing partner you work with.It was only approved because of how close the #2 and #3 contestants were). This means, we have ONE MORE WINNER! This was confirmed by Jeremy, and is a GO!!!! Congratulations DONNA DOO! You are a winner too! That 0.2 was just TOO close to cut you out of the EDGE EVENT 2012! We are soooo looking forward to seeing you at the EDGE and to hearing about all of your successes in the future! Keep at it everyone!

FIrst, Courtney, Chad and Donna, Megan has your information and should be sending the information your way via email. All ?s should be directed to her.

Also, I want to clarify this so there is no 'that's not fair' and the policy of not being able to partner with someone unless they are someone you are actually a partner with. This donation of the partner seat is not a standard practice at all.

The ONLY reason this could be done for this was because the 2nd and 3rd place was so close AND the donator's partner who was going to the Edge had passed away. She was not permitted to give it to just anyone who wanted to 'say' they were a partner with her unless that person was really a partner.

HOWEVER, because of this contest and the circumstances, was the ONLY reason the exception was made. I do not want people going to Jeremy saying 'oh that's not fair'. It was a tragic event of why she no longer has a partner, and her significant other has no interest in RE at all. With the contest being so close they made a rare exception based on the unique and one time circumstances. I'd doubt that something similar would happen again. I know Dean and his staff have been extremely fair and do not want to have people going to Jeremy saying 'why can't we do that'. Hope this helps to clarify things a little.

I want to thank all of the judges for their time and efforts. It was amazing meeting and talking to you even though the time was so limited. Thank you for all the words of encouragement. If anyone truly knows me, this was not done intentionally and all the the circumstances were not clear. But, in the end, it is NOT my decision of who can and can't use a ticket. So, the SPOT was taken by Donna but the ticket was not used. I'm going to do the only thing I know to do and that is to goto Jeremy, I really don't want to be the one to ruin things; I want to help people and give people chances to shine and give back what the DG commuity has given back to me. As many of you know, DG.com was the ONLY place I could go that has been positive in my life for quite some time.

Keep doing what you are doing and do not worry about the whiners. If they really want to come to the Edge they will find a way! These types of personalities will never make it in this business anyway. You have done the best you could do and really tried to help others. Know this and don't let the naysayer/freeloader types bother you! Your effort will be remembered and appreciated far longer than the whining noise you are hearing now.

It is always hard when working with large numbers of people. And it is OK. There isn't anyway to please 100% of the people all of the time. And you should not try. We just do our best.
I appreciate you working so hard to find a way for me to attend this years event. But Tammy, things happen for a reason and it is not time for me to go. I will be there next year. I am sure of that. Please don't worry. I still plan on helping you with this same event next year. WRITE THAT DOWN!!!!

Donna, you really don't have to back out, it takes a lot of character and strength to do what you just did. Apparently there was just some lack of communication between two people and I got caught in the middle.

Anonymous people are offering their partner spots. I don't know if they can be used, the other's circumstances were unique; but this DG family is really great! And there is no family without some hiccups here or there!

Donna, unless there is some pressing other reason why you Can't go, like you just broke your leg or something, DON'T YOU DARE BACK OUT on account of this silly little SNAFU. AS Tammy said, there was a lack of communication, and folks got caught in the middle.
There is NOTHING for anyone -other than myself- to feel bad about. *I* should have pestered and pushed the communication thing more.

As it is, YOU have the chance, TAKE IT. Your essay was clearly so good that it inspired folks to find a way for you to go!
