My first job as a freshman in high school was at a fabric store learning fabrics and textiles. With my creativity, I was later recommended to a drapery sewing workroom where I learned to measure, design, and construct window coverings. This was great experience but it kept me from interacting with people. I then went to JCPenneys and became a Sales Consultant in the drapery department at Southpark and then a Custom Interior Decorator at Northpark. I traveled all over the Quad City area within a 90 mile radius decorating homes and I loved it. I went to Scott Community College for Interior Design and was one semester shy of graduating when my husband tranferred with Tyson Corporate in Springdale, Arkansas. I am currently back in Moline,Illinois working at Lowe's Home Improvement store in appliances and kitchen cabinets. My goal is to own property by the end of this year. I am contributing to a new home construction in Moline and looking to become a first time home owner.

Hi Kristy, You are the 1st person I've come across here in Illinois, although you're a good distance away. I'm in Lockport which is next to Joliet. Good luck to you and your investing.
Sincerely,
