Eric,

A. Try to refrain from posting questions or "personal" related business to other members guestbooks.

B. To Answer your question in regards to your property based in Indiana: The untimely or unpaid rent/s from your family member are unfortunate. However, if you are treating them as "tenants" the Indiana landlord laws may very well apply. You can sell the property with the "tenant" in place. All though, not many investors want non-paying tenants and will in fact evict or ask you to have the tenant and or personal effects removed.
It would be best to approach your family / relative/s and inform them of your decision to sell and let them know you may have a potential buyer and they need to relocate by a specific date. This may alleviate any occurences in the future allowing you to sell the property in a streamlined fashion.
