My Daughters First Deal!!!

I've seen others 'schooling' their kids in REI and NO reason to send them to college= 4yr party + the expenses.

Like you said "Boy IF I had known at 20yr old HOW to make it" LIFE would have been CHanged a LONG time ago!

Congrats to you all for teaching her so well! Love hearing this, just tonight Michelle and I were talking about our youngest, college freshman who stayed local going to a community college, about how we would love to see him get his first deal. He sent Michelle a text earlier about a house with the foreclosure signs in the windows, so he is looking!

hahahah so love it, man this wholesaling thing is really not so difficult once we start implementing what we have learned. funny bc I just told my brother who is 38 to move here to san diego & help me & i would teach him the biz.

This is ONE of my goals as well.... I want to create a Family "Power Team"... Ya know.. have my nephews, niece, and children all learn... Contracting, Appraising, Just all something in different areas of buying and selling...

She has an awesome mentor! (hint hint) That's probably the greatest feeling ever Mike. Our school system is flawed and will never teach her how to make that kind of money in that short amount of time.

My son bought his first property last month; we're finishing the renovations and plan to keep it for two years; then sell and do again... btw, he studied marketing (and international business as a second major)and is doing very well...

My youngest did her deal and now my youngest son and oldest daughter are jumping on the wagon! My oldest son has started a contracting business in Atlanta so we are going to start flipping down there.

My hopes were to turn this thing into a family business.

That's awesome for your daughter. I'm sure you had something to do with that?

Anyway, my youngest daughter did a rehab with her boyfriend and his grandad, along with a realtor who brought the deal. She ended up with $10,00 when all was done. However, I don't think she learned much, but she did do something.
So, it's my job now to help her set that mentality and use the experience to have her do her own deals.
