Dg family, can you give me a your opinion? It'll take just a minute.
Should flyers be handwritten or printed? Do you think printed would jump out to the audience more, or will totally handwritten flyers seem more "local"?

Me personally, I like the printed letters with the actual signature. I have found this to work best for me.

Seems like it would be okay to print them for a polished professional look. I may be wrong, but you could also try both and see which works best.

is to always use printed letters with verbage that is rated no higher than High School. Set your image early so you can build upon your successes. Sure, we have used handwritten signs, yellow letter mailers and other ad methods but I feel TrustPoint's image is tantamount to its closing ratio with sellers.

Thanks for the comments!
Just wanted some ideas, because Greg Murphy suggests handwritten, and Joe Jurek suggests printed.

Try them both and see what works for your area. Ive personally been to Booneville, MS (went to college there for a year before I transferred to a 4-yr) and the area is poised with low to middle income families. Looking at a hand-written sign from their prospective would be like "hey, there's a real person behind that sign" instead of an impersonal mass printed sign.

A logo of your own is a good idea!!

for the comments, they're a big help!
I don't think I could do a logo right now, because I don't have a registered business or whatever. Sounds like a great idea though!

For fliers, I'd recommend printing them with the tear-off tabs (with your phone number) on the bottom AND for bandit signs, handwritten with a local phone number. Remember, you don't need to spend a lot of money. Keep it simple and get them out there!
good luck!

Why not print them and autograph them? Are you using this for direct mail?
Thanks for the phone number stub idea!
Travis thats what I think I'm going to try first, printed with my signature on them.
I want lay about twenty of them wherever people will let me, and post them on any bulletin boards I can find.

It was mentioned in the mentoring lessons to attach a business card or cards to your flyers (especially if you are posting them somewhere) because when someone takes a little piece of paper with the phone number on it, there is a greater chance that they will not remember what the number was for or who the number is to. A biz card prevents that from happening.
Hope this helps...

Hi Ruben,
I have posted deals in the 'Real Estate' section of eBay where you can post ads for free. And another great thing is that after you post an ad there, eBay will let you make & print flyers w/tear-tabs...for your ad...for free too!
I use them to put up in stores, laundromats, wherever. The tear-tabs hold up to 3 lines of print...so I have my name/phone number/website address on them. If professionally printed flyers are for you, you do not want to miss looking into this as an option.
Hope this helps,
Theo T.
