So this whole real estate thing...It's an evolving art-form. I'm learning more and more everyday.
A little background about me...I'm a 23 year old college grad who just moved to Nashville TN. When i got done with school in 2007 i decided to pursue music as a career. I've toured the east coast a few times. I've played some amazing venues and met some even more amazing people along the way.
But touring wasn't paying the bills, and i was still having to work crappy part time jobs when i wasn't on tour. I ordered BARM and PFREN after watching late night TV and thinking to myself, how hard can this real estate stuff be? The academy eventually called me and i joined in march of 2009.
I wasn't in the greatest spot financially to make such a commitment, but i have no regrets! I'm in and i'm ready to do some deals.
For a while, my mind was my greatest foe. My doubts about my future made me second guess myself. Hence, why i've yet to complete a deal...
But i'm re-energized! This journal will hold me accountable and motivate me to continuously do REI.
This weeks task: Call 20 potential buyers to increase my buyers list.
"how you do anything, is how you do everything."
Welcome. Wish I had started in REI when I was 23. I wish you much success and look forward to reading about your journey in REI.

i've made some phone calls. got some buyers lined up. now i'm on to finding those KILLER DEALS, that will have investors knocking down my door.
i've ran in to a bit of a speed bump. i no longer have internet in my home. my roommate, whom the internet bill's name is in, didn't pay the bill for a few months straight. now it's going to cost $170 to get it up and running again.
but i'm definitely not letting that slow me down. i'm using local coffee shops, and restaurant's internet to send e-mails and research property.
its a little bit harder this way, but i have to be resourceful.
now i'm on to finding a real estate agent to add to my team.
wish me luck!
