OfflineI've been slacking, but I got 100 post cards going out from addresses I got for free from my bird dogs. The ad on CL costs 25 buks, and it takes some effort to recruit and motivate these finders and keeping their submitted addresses and names organized, but, it can pay off HUGE.
I often wonder why nobody else takes a little time to use this method, I've made some serious ass profits from my bird dogs. But, Most of my deals have come from direct mail to absentee owners. I have a list of 5,000 I will soon get going.
Also, I need to get my bandit signs out, havnt found a reliable person to do it, so I will spend a few hrs putting them up. The last batch was 500 bandit signs that I paid $900 for the colored pre printed ones and I made 28 frikin grand off of those, and I got another 100 from that batch to still put up. The best prices are at dirtcheapsigns.com
I also made up some door knob hangers and paid 2 girls 75 buks each to pass them out in a large neighborhood and I made $14,000 on a nice house with pool, the seller lost her job and had medical problems and just wanted to move back near her family.
I will have to find some more girls to distribute these. Last ones I found using CL.
So not only am I trying to motivate you, but also myself.

im still plugging away got a deal in dec on xmas eve off the mls for $3,350 a small deal, I go slower bc of being legally blind, but am plugging away, love to read yiour posts, my partner is putting bandit signs up, here in san diego they are tough, but we do get a couple deals a yr from them,

I've been hibernating this winter, taking care of my 86 yr old Mom, she just passed on, it was traumatic.
Only got 1 deal this year so far. But I've been recruiting the bird dogs and they are sending me tons, it's difficult to keep up with the post cards.
And I need to start up the big list and get my butt in gear.

Guess who Made 10 Frikin Grand today? I did, only because I sent a cheap ass 37 Cent post card to this seller saying I wanted to buy his house.
How Insane is that? But yet I've done it many times. This house is a rat hole near Belmont and Cedar.. Bad town.
This house has been completely gutted to the studs.
The seller said a half dozen people have looked at it and all took off and never called back.
Congrats to Patrice, who is making 2 Grand for finding it.
That only leaves 8 Grand for me, darn. Can you imagine how motivated Patrice will be to find more.
I've offered a few of my finders a 50/50 split and they still wont get motivated.
If you people only knew how easy this is. You might partner up with me.
Haha, I always make it out to be easier than it is, I actually spent about 22 hours handwriting about 400 post cards from my bird dogs.
But that's a heck of a lot easier than working for a living. And I'm getting more calls. Let's make some Money.....
