Introductory letter to Investors

Introductory letter to Investors

I have found some names of investors in my area, now I need to send an Introductory letter. This is where I need help, I need it to "work". I can not seem to find investors for my side of the state, everyone I have talked to so far is investing in the other side of the state (bigger city over there). If anyone knows of any investors who are interested in the West side of Michigan,I'd be interested in talking to them. I am trying to start out wholesaling, to get my feet under me; then I will branch out into other areas. I am really wanting to get my first deal done this month, at least one; hoping for more.

Introductory letter to Investors

Pattison,

First of all, I recommend that you call the potential buyers rather than send them an introductory letter. It is my experience that those types of letters get tossed by the secretary. After you talk to them, it is good to send them a follow-up letter with your business card.

Remember to keep in contact with your buyers. You can email them with a nice thought, or a letter, just keep your name in front of them so when you call them with your first deal, they will reminder you and pay attention to the deal points.

Also, it is my experience that investors on one side of a state will go to the other side if the deal is good enough. You can discuss this with them when you call to see if they would consider it. If they understand that the deal will make them money, they'll probably still go with you.

Don't give up. I talk to people all day long who are making money in thw program. It takes a lot of hard work, but it is happening all over the country.
