We are going to the 2011 Edge event. We have our tickets already.

We want to meet everyone is what we are looking forward to the most. The education and networking. I think it is going to be a fun event.

Doing out of state deals and using small town banks for no season loans have been some of our strategies.

I agree with you kareng, I AM going but don't know how yet. Where do you find out the information on it? I have been looking but, as yet, haven't found anything on this subject. Please somebody tell us so we can make plans to go and get the money somewhere. The longer time I have to plan, the more sales I can make. I have not made one sale YET. But look out world here I come!!!

...Stacey and I are planning on attending Dean's Gain the EDGE 2011 event. We have attended the EDGE 2009 and EDGE 2010 and would not miss the EDGE 2011. Just like the Chicago Bulls of the 1990's we will (3-Peat). Each event has helped in so many ways I can't even count. It is such an awesome time to network and learn the latest techniques and strategies for real estate investing. We can't wait! I will always remember the EDGE 2009 helped us jumped start our business to levels we could not believe. Dean always exceeds expectations with his books, programs and events! Attending the EDGE event will be our best investment in 2011! Hope to see you and so many other DG Members there. Believe and Achieve! - Joe

however judging by when it was in 2010, it would be May 20th, 21st, 22nd 2011. three wonderful & fantastic days in warm sunny Phoenix, Az. In 2010 the tickets were were about $2400 and spouse/partner for a discount i believe. i'm not positive but i wanted to give you some idea. so i hope this helps. Chase man you can do this so do not get discouraged. we all can. so heres to 2011.

We were able to buy the tickets when Dean offered them in the Set For Life package. When Dean offers things to us at a discount you have to jump on them. I do not know for sure what he will charge in May.

it will be great to see everyone and meet some awesome people !! i believe the dates are the weekend of may 13th .the price is approx 2495 and a discount for your partner .I think the price is 500 for the partner .I am not 100% sure but i believe admin will let everyone know soon.
I went to edge 2010 also and met some fantastic people and cannot wait to meet new people and share knowledge with everyone including evryone we met last yr.
my wife karen,my boy justin and his girlfriend tiffany are also attending and they cant wait to get to the firesky in scottsdale arizona too !!!!!
last yr karen and i went on the hot air balloon ride over arizona which was incredible !!
My son justin is 21 yrs old and he is learning deans strategies,It will be a great learning experience for him.My wife karen and justins girlfriend will be enjoying the arizona sunshine by the awesome firesky resort pool !!

What are you looking forward to most ?? Meeting everyone on here that I feel like I already know, and Dean and the coaches of course! As well as learning high end techniques that the average investor doesn't know about.

Whos going with you? My husband and kids. We are trying to start a group of kids so we can get reduced rates for anyone that has to bring kids along. I started a thread on this LONG ago, but didn't get too much response! Hey, maybe my kiddos will even get to meet and play with Dean's kids! My little ones are the same ages!

What do you want to learn most? SO MUCH! Something I may not even know about yet! How Dean puts his properties under contract (separate LLCs, trusts) and what techniques he uses to legally work the tax codes! Ways to network that involve the least amount of time since that's my most valuable resource, especially juggling investing with being a stay at home mom to 4, homeschooling, going through preteen changes and attitudes and 2 and 3-4 year old tantrums and other highlights. Also, maybe Dean's tips and strategies to get true relational private money lenders (if he even needs them anymore!) but when he DID, what techniques he used. I heard many other's methods, would love to hear about his.

What strategy have you already used? Buy and hold, rehabbing and holding, HML, traditional financing, buying properties at auction (auction.com), attending (but not yet buying) properties on the courthouse steps), working on assignments and my first fix and flip under contract (which I am working on a refi for right now because I may want to hold it over a year to avoid the Capital gains taxes, but until I talk to a CPA and/or learn techniques at the EDGE 2011 I am not sure if that's to my advantage or not. Also did my first PML with another investor right here on DG.com!

Getting to events like this and REICs are very difficult for me with kids, especially with their ages and no babysitters, so this will be a HUGE deal for me!

My goal is to do enough deals and close enough deals before then to be able to go to the Edge 2011 a few days early and stay a few days late this time...and catch up with everyone finally, since my time on Dean's site has been short lately with new baby. Getting to the "action" part in real estate, but haven't been able to report here!! Thanks for your comment in my journal about the pics awhile back...I'll follow up with a PM to you.

A lot I do appreciate it. I've recently returned home from Afghanistan and I can say that was an experience of a lifetime! The ones in uniform thank all of you for the support it really helps! And thank you for the info it does indeed help out tremendously, and as far as being discouraged I do get to that point sometimes but I always think about the DG community and what the rest of ya'll are doing out there and it drives my motivation and determination right back up! to all dgers and a happy new yr !! just read deans message in email and have to take a minute to be grateful for all i have learned this year because of him and everyone that is involved with him including students,staff and fellow dgersI.Iwould also like to say thank you to all my family and friends for being who you are and the support you give me.What does all this have to do with the edge 2011 ?? well this is where it all could start for some new dg members and or fellow edge attendees.Reading deans books and using any of his other products are motivating but BELIEVE me when i say that the positive environment you will experience if you attend the edge event is amazing !! If and when you do go to the edge 2011 event ,take EVERY opportunity to speak to all the coaches,dean,staff,and as many current students and newbies as you can.Iknow some people may be shy ...because i USED to be ... but this is one place where you are welcomed by EVERYONE with the same mindset.That one newbie that you thought didnt talk much may be the one that you could partner with and make a fortune.THAT one coach that you were not sure about talking to may be the one that helps you make your first deal then your second and then your tenth !!
Make every attempt to ask questions and learn all you can because this event
CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE . I know it did mine !!

I will NOT be able to go DGer's!! I'll be in Kentucky for two whole weeks doing some training at Ft. Knox starting the 10th of May. But I can't wait to get back so I can hear all about it!! I know it will be great though. Anything that Dean has his hands in or on least to say will be great!!

Not sure yet, but would love to if it is financially feasible for us. I sure hope so. Only problem is that with 3 kiddos, it would probably only be either my husband or myself. Maybe we could set up some kind of babysitting for part of it.

anyone else going to the edge event ?? lets here if you r on the edge of going or going to the edge !!! have heard from alot of people that they may go and some who are thinking of it so who else is thinking of it and what do you want to learn the most ?? I know i want to meet more new investors and am super excited to hear the excitement in new investors that are going for their dreams and using the knowledge that dean provides .IT is very inspiring to hear what you have done and what you want to learn to further your real estate career.For me this is a part time hobby but i want to make it the path to early retirement and financial freedom so i can spend valuable time with my family and friends and help as many people along the way as i can.Thank you dean for all your motivating blogs,products,motivation,students ,staff and coaches and guidance.IF you want to PERSONALLY MEET THESE REAL PEOPLE and learn what they are teaching ,you have but one chance per yr and this is your chance.I am sure not going to miss this event. hello greg !! whatever dean charges for this event i can say is def worth every penney.when i joined his academy i put it on my credit card and found a way to pay for it by learning the lessons taught and taking action with what i learned.I TOOK A CHANCE ON DEAN and in doing so i learned to make aPROFIT FROM REAL ESTATE ! now not everyone will take this chance or find a way make it happen but i believe dean will be offering a valuable chance for assistance to attend this event in the following days or weeks so be alert.I can say dean does walk the talk and he goes above and beyond to over deliver to see his students succeed. just a question but what kind of assistance are you interested in ?? and what talk have you heard?

I hope many can take advantage of deans discount on the edge event.I am counting down the days to attend and add to the list of students to network with.This is an opportunity for me and my son to learn more new information and speed the process of retiring young.If you are thinking of going and dont know how to pay for it then try writing down the questioon on paper......what can I do to pay for my education? #1 sell something on craigslist,something that you never use anymore.... Thanks joe........#2 work extra hrs at job,on weekends #4 partner with someone who will pay your way and share all profits and knowlwdge u gain.. This could be a deduction for you and partner . #5 sell that second or third car oe truck that is costing you for registration,insurance,upkeep. #6 sell the toys you have such As snowmobile,motorcycle,4whqeeler,.#7 find a hard money lender for the funds to attend at a great rate?? Why not you would use one to buy a prope
rty?? #8 I have used my credit card for education and this is an avenue but u must be able to find a way to payit off quickly through deals or other strategies.. #9 bCk to the partner.........find a mentor and or partner that believes in you and knows you believe in yourself enough to lend you the funds to attend and sign a promissory note to paY back or sign over your toys for the funds. #10 read,read,read,and partner with a dg student and brainstorm together as we just did to find a way to make your dreams a reality.
These r just 10 ways of many that by writing down the question to something you WANT an answer to.....your brain and others braInstorming with you will come up with an answer.
These are just my opinion and the tactic I use for myself to make things happen .I know its just not possible for many to make it this yr and I encourage you to stay active on this site and learn from others what they have learned.

So often in life we make decisions. Some deciusions are better than others. Each decision can impact our life and the outcomes that may follow. Back in March 2009 we ordered Dean's Book and then shortly there after heard about this event called the Gain the EDGE 2009.

Well, it is not even 2 years later and I can tell you that attending this event ignited a fire under Joe and I to succeed. It provided a roadmap of ideas on our real estate adventure. We made this 1 decision that has had such a dramatic imact on our lives. Now is the time to take action by attending this life changing event. If you attend this year, where will you be by next year?
