The home I will be buying is a short sale -- 3beds, 2 bath with a half acre lot .. The property needs basically 6k to 8k worth of rehab and then I can resell it making around 25k profit .. Not bad for a beginner ..
My wish is for everyone on the DG site : whether veteran or novice to have at least one accepted offer before the end of the year .. It is a wonderful kind of feeling .. To know you have control over your own destiny -- that feeling is priceless..

Orchids to you! I am still gleaning info from everyone's successes. I just wish I was in CONUS, than maybe I can find these good deals too. Being so far from all these opportunities is not helping me any! By the time I find something I am interested in, and I submit my offer, someone closer to it has grab it! There are just not too many deals here in HI.
