I need to ACT on my situation BY MORNING. Any immediate help would be much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
I am working on a Short Sale for a good friend of mine. We are working on a deal with a man who is going through a divorce. Long story short, I plan to assign this property to my buyer after negotiations.
My buyer is already pre-approved with a bank but after discussing the details, I told him that a mortgage broker might be able to find him a better deal. So I am now ready to add a Mortgage Broker to my Team.
My question is: Do you have any tips when adding a Mortgage broker to my team? I guess basically. What's in it for me?
PS. I have a broker in mind who works directly with many of the members of the R.E.I.N in my area so finding out if the broker has expertise isn't as issue. I'm just wondering what to say when I sit in front of him talking about our new found business relationship.
is the only way any professional worth their time will deal with you.
If, and only if, he can make money off any deal you bring, its all good.
If not, its not
Elix is right. MB's make a commission off your deal. So if there is a way to get someone financed they will do it, if not they will pass on you. It is just like your deal....Jan

Why I suggest you and other individuals do before you go and try and build your 'team' is make sure everything is in order. While its not bad or most times won't be held against you if you're new, it certainly will be held against you if you show that you're new and lacking in at least organizing your deals.
What you need to ask yourself is "what's in it for them???"
