Search Tool for Locating Owners

This site will give SOME FREE information but to get most of what you need you will have to pay a small fee but I have found it to be pretty useful. There are a lot of other services out there that you can use but I thought this one was pretty accurate.

update

I just found two owners for some vacant and deserted properties with this tool. so its pretty good

Approaching an abandoned house contact

I recently found a house that appears abandoned: weeds, empty, old mail on porch, etc. After searching assessors office, the sellers are listed as CHRISTOPHEL FAMILY TRUST. The house as well as the contacts are in same city and I don't know if its for sale, because the tax are all paid up to date; so, should I write them and if so, how should I approach? Oh, I am a first time investor.
