Currently pursuing abandoned property where I live at in Washington State. There are plenty of properties where people have just up and left, leaving the property totally empty and in some cases they have left personal property where it has been dumped outside by by the landlords and which have foreclosed on the property and it belongs to the bank. So in looking up these properties, they are sometimes listed as still occupied by the last occupants. So, you can still find properties without accurate records and the banks may be more than willing to find new occupants to take over the properties; especially properties abandoned for more than year or two.

The Insider's Edge Real Estate Conference with Keith Sperry
April 14th, 2012 | posted by aerospacemanToday was my lucky day for I would get to attend the local Insider's Edge Real Estate Conference being held at the local Red Lion Hotel in Spokane Washington. The primary speaker is one of the big real estate guru's named Keith Sperry and he would be handling the introduction and majority of the conference. This consisted of "Creating Wealth in Today's Real Estate Market". The next Speaker was Neblis Francois who would cover "Real Estate Investments Backed by the Government", and finally wrapped up by Michael Collins who would speak very shortly on Notes.
Overall I enjoyed the whole conference, but felt very depressed upon leaving because I could no participate in any of the offered classes due to lack of financial aid.
First Negotiation
November 17th, 2011 | posted by aerospacemanLooking across the street from a public school in a neighborhood I know very well we saw what appeared to be an abandoned house. Pressing myself into the research on the internet I dug up information on the home and it belonged to a trust. My wife said go ahead and waste your time, I sent a letter to the deed holder who lives outside the state and she called me several days later. She informed me that her husband had passed 5 years earlier and about how the last renters tore up the place and she was tired of dealing with the property and would really love to sell the home. She told me what she expected (about $135k) and that she had paid down the mortgage to $70k. Asking her if the mortgage was assumable...she paused and said she didn't think so but would ask! OMG!
Dust Storm Engulfs Phoenix
July 9th, 2011 | posted by aerospacemanWe watched the webcast of the huge dust storm engulfing Phoenix and I though way back when living in Mesa how frequently we had dust storms. Then the thought struck me...is Dean OK? Hey Dean are you ok? Were you in the dark storm of dust? This dust gets into everything. Just blogging to hope you're ok.
