I have a really interesting property that I need some feedback on how to market. It is a historic gold mining town in the Sierra Nevada foothills that the owner wants to sell. Lots of untapped potential. I know that europeans are interested in the american west, any ideas on marketing would be appreciated? None of my current buyers seem interested in this property.
The owner will carry with a good down payment. I am not putting a price here since as you can imagine; comps are difficult.
Any and all questions and ideas are appreciated.

Not a strange idea at all. There are casinos in most counties around mine. I am going to try to do some research this week.

The casino idea sounds like a good possibility to me. I will see what I can do about finding European buyers now I've seen a few more details of the property.
I think that contacting the local native tribes in that area is a great idea. I live on the Bishop Paiute Reservation and I know that the Tribe here is always looking for business opportunities to improve the Tribes economic development. Search for Native Tribes of California and you should be able to narrow down the local tribes of that area. Good Luck.
