mentor for the sacramento area

hello everyone, my name is Jason I live just outside of Sacramento California and have been learning REI for a little while now, just like dean I know there is no substitute for just doing it to gain the experience. Im 21 and had started a business with my highschool math teacher who was already running a coffee business. I had worked in sales and made him a lot of money, but since he didn't want to pay me all that commission he said he would help me start a small coffee cart business. the numbers were awesome and overhead was very little leaving a large chunk of profit. but when problems kept coming up with his coffee cart and I kept pouring money into a coffee cart that I was going to rent I had to back out especially since I left the company to run the cart. you can imagine my savings didn't last long so I started operating cranes and had to leave all that behind me. Problem was I hated making people rich and leaving myself barely scraping by. I don't mean to give you my life story here but I feel that if I'm asking you to potentially mentor me you deserve to know a little about my past. In any case I have some sick family I want to help and now with me being layed off I have a fire under my butt that should have been there a long time ago. I know REI is the way to help my family and myself and would be a very hard working motivated student/friend. If you do live in the area or maybe would just like to help me on deals that would be awesome. I would to love shadow someone if thats at all possible.
