The purpose of the ghost d is to build your buyer's list. Usually a response is a general area followed by the home is already under contract and a conversation about what the buyer is looking for : area, type of home, beds, bath, price point etc. I as an investor want to know the address immediately, as I will look it up on Portland Maps. There are many undesirable areas in Portland but many pockets within those areas, although that is changing due to lack of inventory. Your caller may very well know it is a ghost ad, I would, but you need to sell them on being on your buyer's list, it is to their advantage!
