i suggest that u invest in deans success academy, they mentor you step by step, and its a big difference then doing real estate alone. just dont give up failure is not an option if you really want to succeed. wish you the best of luck buddy.. and welcome back to the dg family..

You said it, you have an unbelievable opportunity before you. Since age 20? Its definitely time to take action! I know too many people who never take action and miss out. NOW is the time; the RE market has NEVER been better to wholesale in, and it looks like you will start by wholesaling!

You're in the midwest, and that is a great place to start wholesaling; right where you live. Look for FSBO (for sale by owners) (drive around your neighborhood looking for signs) and when you get a few of them, PM me. Also, start looking on CL (www.craigslist.com) every day. Get yourself some leads and then you are ready to make some phone calls. And, get some bandit signs going. They are your best friend!

Calling is the intimidating part, but you just have to 'do it scared' just like Carol Stinson says!

Day two of my journal. This is what I have going on. Reading through Deans book again. To see if I can get some answers to some questions I have. And posting question on line at the same time. I have about 1 hour left of my time right now and will be back on line to night. It seems that all I do lately is try to figure out what is going to work for me. I did however see an older video of Deans that put some prospective on what I should be concentrating on. He said figure out what your best at and do that. When things work out for you to find others to do what you can’t then you will become more successful. I have started a list of things I need to do and to hold myself accountable. In desperate need of help, as I want to do a deal in the next few weeks. I will post my list for all to see. From most important to the least. The goal is for me is to make a deal happen. I will be putting my concerns here to view as well. In hopes to get some response back. This is what I have done so fair. I have a few homes that are vacant. Have been for some time. I have sent one letter out to the owners after going on to court house to get all the tax and land information I can on it. This was about four weeks ago. Letter went like this
Hi my name is Mike Knolls. I live about two blocks from your house on Eaken Ave. I would like to ask you if you have any interest in selling this property. I’m looking for a project house. You can contact me by email, letter, or phone number. Look forward to hearing from you. You can contact me by email, letter or phone.
I’m not the best at this but will be getting better. I would like to send a second letter. But need a woo hooo factor to get a response. I now the tenets of this home have passed away and that the address I have is to another resident, witch from talking to a neighbor I believe to be there son. House has been empty for two going on three years. I found article on forum list to send yellow paper in birthday type card. As to what to say still working on this. Any suggestions would be great.
Later today I will be calling on a FSBO to look at his property. I will tell him I’m a REI Broker as that is how I see myself and that I’m interested in his property. Would like some advice on what else I could ask him. I will be looking through Deans book to see what I can find.
Right now I’m trying to figure out the best way to attract buyers. Have looked on forums on this and it seems there is a lot of different Ideas. Want the best for the Midwest. I also have some concerns on how to represent myself. After reading some articles on the forums I’m afraid there might be some new laws in effect that may prohibit me from saying I’m a real estate investor /broker. And some questions on whether the forms that Dean provides will work here in the Midwest. Any advice on this would be helpful. I can’t afford to get a lawyer to look over such things right know and I just want to press forward and get a deal done as soon as possible. This is most important to me.

The last few days I have been business looking over all the great videos that dean has put together. I'm on the edge as to weather or not I'm going to pull the trigger. I can't believe how existed I get when I watch them. I have watched them a few times and I'm amped. Along with watching the videos I have been reading over all kinds of articles on DG. Taking notes and trying to answer some question I have. I Still need to get back to reading through Deans book one more time as well. It seems the more I want this the more time I spend here and the days seem to fly by. Its like I don't have enough time in the day to do what I want. It also feels like I'm spinning my wheels. But I know that the information I'm going over well someday crab hold of my brain and make since. I did however talk to a friend of mine and he is looking for a house in AZ. I have to get a few more details from him. I hoping that I maybe able to help him in what ever way possible. Partnering with some one from there or just dig in ask a bunch of question on DG. I still have to come up with some option. I can feel it, its at the tip of my finger. ThIS IS MY FUTURE.

Success Academy VS Rock Bottom Blue Print.
After watching Deans Rock Bottom Blue Print I decided that I need to pull the TRIGGER and move forward. I had some question on whether or not the Success Academy would be much different with mentoring and to see what else they offer. So I gave them a call and was passed on to a representative from there. I ask if he could tell me the differences between Rock Bottom Blue Print and what they have to offer. He said that I would get all that and more if I went with the Success Academy. Plus all the mentors from there and their combined experiences. It sounded great to me and I asked how it would work out to pay them. The plain I would be on will work for me and so it was an easy choice to make. They set me up and said I will be contacted by a mentor. It went just like they said I was contacted. And the mentor gave me quick and brief lesson on how to log on to the training page and go through some of the exercises. Sometime in the middle of things I asked if he could answer some question. He said at the end of the training he would. When the end came I did get to ask a few things but had many more questions I wanted to ask. Like how can I get some of the information from the Rock Bottom Blue Print? I never got that far because he cut the call short and said he had to get to another call and do the same thing he just did for me. He said if it was urgent that I could call the hot line. I said that I would like to talk to him. He did call back and I missed him by seconds as I didn’t get to the phone quick enough. That was ok I can get the answers later. I had some studying to do and was excited to get to it. Today as I have been going through of my studying I wanted to call back in and see if I could get some help and of course ask a lot of questions. I made a list of questions to make sure I wouldn’t waste their time. I call the hot line and get a recording. Something like this, all representatives are in training to better serve you and will not be available. Then I get disconnected. No, leave a message at the end of beep will get back to you. No, your important to us we will get back to you. Or they will be available at such and such a time. An hour later I try again and again, get the same thing three strikes. I now start to question; did I make a good choice? Time will tell and I hope I did. It’s a bit discouraging when your new and you finally make the choice to go forth and then to get this. My time today has come to an end for I have other business to attend to. By the time I can get back at it tonight they will be closed. It would have been nice to get some answers today when one is in their MOJO mood. I’m sure we’ve all been there. This is just a ripple in the road to a great success story.
