Through all the negativity I've gotten from agents in my area, I think I'm on to something. I searched for Real Estate Attorneys in my area and a very knowledgable and helpful attorney called me the next day. It was a very positive and informative conversation and he's referring some agents and brokers to me. So it looks like I have a good attorney on my team and the others are coming soon! As we hung up he said, "go get him kid, you're on the right track". So that made me feel a world better.

Keep it up. The negativity will keep coming. Just push it aside and find someone else.

I'm realliy going for it now! I just started building my new website and I'm so excited! I'm putting ghost ads and general ads in specific venues with my website info and people can go there and take their time, read all about what their options are and maybe "check this box" to recieve a free brochure of our services. When they check the box, they'll leave their contact info and then my client lists will grow hopefully very fast. That's my plan anyway.

Thanks a lot! The support from you guys is the best. I really appreciate it and any personal help or advice would be great too. I've yet to get my feet wet on a deal but I really am working at it. Getting that first one is going to seem surreal and I can't wait. Some real life, hands on training would be unbelieveable. How do you get Matt to spend three days with me? Anyway thank you so much for taking the time to read my journal. It means a lot.

It seems like you are on the right track. Keep up the hard work and you will have that first deal before you know it. Keep us posted on all your progress.

Congratulations for starting your journal it is a great way to keep yourself accountable and share your insight and knowledge with other DG Members. The DG website is packed with information and inspiration. You may want to consider joining a local real estate investment club to network with other investors if there happens to be one in your area. This is also a great way to get refferals and meet other professionals in the industry. Try to do a little each day to get you closer to your goals and dreams. Good luck with real estate investing. The support here is great. Keeping my head straight when the world around me is trying to keep me from "dreaming". My "dream" is only a reality that hasn't happened yet. My wife is great though. Today is Sunday, so we have nothing else to do but drive around and investigate in some choice areas. She has been supportive. She says she believes in me so I really can't let her down. I have to make this dream a reality.

My RE attorney got me the name of an agent that he has worked with in the past. He's very versed in these types of deals and I was so excited. I called and left a message and he called me back soon after. I got some very good feedback from him about the things I'm trying to accomplish. He said he was also an attorney and he handled most of the legal end and his partner handled the rei end. He would have him call me back in 1 hour. I waited 24 hours til I called him back to say that his partner never called. He sounded surprised and told me that it's been a crazy week and he promised his partner would call me very soon. (We'll call the partner Derek, so I can stop writing "the partner") Anyway, Derek did call late that night and he sounded super enthusiastic about the work I'm trying to get going and wants to speak with me today about our plan of action and helping me build a massive portfolio in the future. I will speak with him today! I can't wait to get this off the ground. I'm so excited and I haven't even made a deal yet, but it's close. I know it!

I just spoke with someone on a rei club in my area. Unfortunately, by the time he got back to me it was too late as the meeting was in about 1 hour, but he is having a "cash flow" game at his house. He said there are plenty of investors and other people to network with and the game teaches you a lot of real life techniques and strategies that will change the way you think about money. Bring business cards and all your questions, he said, and the people there will help me get my feet wet whether it's bird dog fees at first or doing their leg work for some fee. I can't wait til Saturday!

I met an amazing businessman at my rei club meeting. He's given me an incredible opportunity to work with him. He's open to recruiting others in our area! Anybody in MA who's interested in hearing more, email me directly. I'm jumping on this wagon and so should anyone in MA!
