And another thing, I just thought about, I haven't had a raise in two years! Whew! Can I really do this real estate thing? Am I capable?

I'd say "yes", you are capable, but YOU'RE the one who has to take the action and learn the process. Do you have your strategy picked out? I'd just focus on one area of investing. This way, you can focus on making money quicker instead of trying to learn about all the fields of real estate investing.

One thing is not to sweat the small things. Trust me I know im in the military and I have really had them days where it seems nothing goes right. As far as getting flak at the workplace its not supernatural, it happens to the best of us.
We all got that boss or that co-worker who has that say so over subordinates. That may or may not be an issue for you, but its good motivation to succeed in real estate or any other endeavor.
My angle in getting my investments set up is to start my own limited liability company started. Its costing a few hundred but its the way to go. Once you have your own business, you have leverage, and a new line of corporate credit that hopefully can get a foot in the door on some investments. Just do your homework and invest smartly. Start small, bubble quietly, then blow up!

Please remember Isiah 54:17 No weapon formed against me shall prosper. This is my favorite of all verses. As far as a raise. Don't rely on man to give you a raise. You must have faith that your blessings are coming and your in charge of making that raise come forth. Rembmer this. If you don't own it, you don't control it. Please develop a cloak of positive energy. Claim your blessings. I'm not a very religious person by no means. I know the god I serve and I surround my self with positive people, images, books, and words. Anything that will be a hinderance to my faith, belief in self, my journey, my blessings is a no no. I call what I desire into existance and move forward. Sure its easy to get discouraged. I like you and others here are human. But I speak positive words to my desires, pray and believe I have received it and move on. As I told another member here, I go by the M.E.T.E. code. Money, effort, time, energy is one means along with hardwork to success. Keep pressing forward. Get away from negative engergy, people, words, literature, T.V. etc. Surround your self with success. You can do it...I did it while not having a job only 2k in my name...a father of two...And not knowing how i was going to pay the bills or rent...And i had gotten evicted from my APT...I live in a family member garage for 3 months
Thats when i had to do something and did i had alot of obstacles and over came it...Now i have purchase over 100 properties 7k cashflow a month..
I have a corporate funding side business...And i dont have to worry about my bills...
At least you have a job and you have to be thankful for that...
Start investing If you fall hard get back up...

I don't want to hear about other peoples success stories and how everything is rosy. This is a true dire situation and if anyone can help her save her home and credit, then this is the time to act.
