Congratulations for reading Dean's books and joining the Success Academy. These are excellent resources to help you with every step of your real estate investing activities. Also, congratulations for starting your journal it is a great way to keep yourself accountable and share your insight and knowledge with other DG Members. No matter what you share, is good because so many members can be going through the same thing and it is always good for members to relate and share their experiences. Try to do a little each day to get you closer to your goals and dreams. Information and learning will build confidence and confidence will help when taking action. Due to your success and experience, I had a thought! My company valuates commercial properties and fortunately we just landed several jobs for the FDIC. I wondered if anyone has ever thought about buying residential property from them? My goodness, have you gone to their website and checked out what they have in their inventory. It will amaze you! I would love to team up with someone and do the foot work here in Calif. Can you imagine the profits? GOD is good, all the time!

> 2-2-2010 Last night I attended my first investment club meeting, boy was it great seeing so many people interested in the same subject of making money, making a better life for yourself and your family. I really like this club and think I may join, it isn't too expensive, it is $99 per month and conveniently located around the corner from my house at a very nice hotel.

Okay, now that I've come down just a little from my natural high in securing my first deal, I'm looking for that second one. It is so true that once you get the fever, it's hard to stop.
I love this business, its fun, exciting, and most of all you are able to make it want you want it to be for your future.

I attended my first pre-auction event. Wow! What a great day I had. For those that say there are no homes in Los Angeles? Please, please, please, do not believe that. REO's and foreclosures are in the thousands. There are thousands of deals, some good and some not so good. The initial question will always be "what's it worth"? But, they are out there for us.
