I've locked up a rehab property in Wilkes Barre, PA and now I'm looking to wholesale this bad boy. The owner also has two other properties that are potential short sale candidates. One of them is a multi-family, also requiring rehab.
I own a property in Rocky Mount, NC that is sitting vacant because I've got to do some updating to have rented.
My goal is to own 8 to 10 properties by the end of the year and to flip 2 to 4 properties a month.
I'm looking for partners (equity, credit, cash, business) to build a conglomerate of companies.
Read Rich Dad books, Bob Proctor, Tony Robbins, and anything that motivates to take Action!!!

Job 22:21 Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you.
Job 22:28 You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you.
Deut 28:8 The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything yo do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord you God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
Rich Dad was a good book that opened my eyes to REI. In the end, action is what counts. It must feel good to get the first one started!

I started reading the book but never finished it. I need to re-read it again, lol.
But the company has a great board game called Cash Flow that my Husband and I play with other people. Its a great game to open peoples eyes and mind in RE investing, especially to teenagers so they can learn how to handle money and use it wisely. Just my 2 cents.
Good luck with your properties.

The FMV is $86000 to $95000
I'm reading "Unlimited Power" by Anthony Robbins right now and the book is awesome. For a book that was written in the mid 80's a lot of the info is practical for today.
In the last chapter I read Tony suggested to list all the goals I have and to visualize and feel the goals materialize as they are being written down.
How does this apply to RE investing.... well, about the 20 company names I came up with including the 3 existing companies I currently own, about three quarters of them are RE associated businesses.
From RE investing firm, property management, construction, to holding companies, trust funds, and syndicates. All that will come true cause I believe and know that it is all possible through Real Estate.
I went to see Donald Trump at MoneyFest in NYC several weeks ago and want impressed me most was what he said... that now is the greatest time ever to invest in Real Estate to build wealth and once you do so then you can invest in other ventures that you would be interested in. BUT Become a RE CEO Build your wealth through RE then you can be a CEO for another type of Business.

The last couple of days I have been going to seminars and networking with other investors/potential investors. It's been cool to learn new strategies and refresh my mind on some stuff. I am fully convinced that it is imperative to network however you can but most importantly word of mouth/face-to-face is clearly critical to your business.
I'm going back for the last day to do some more networking and build my business.

I believe Benjamin Franklin said it best that "the best investment you can make is on your education." It is great to hear all the educational materials you are reviewing. Knowledge can be power. Networking can help in so many ways. It is interesting sometimes you meet people and you never know who knows who. I believe everyone you meet has a contact that can help you with your investing career in some way, the challenging thing is if that person with share their contact with you. Good luck on all your real estate deals. Believe and Achieve! - Joe
