First the contest and now I am asked to speak at the EDGE! Will you be there?

I am not crazt about planes either but I have been on one a few times to florida, the last time when I was boarding I asked the pilot If I could take the controls if anything went wrong because I don't trust anyone else who might panic, He looked at me like I was nuts and just smiled lol.
Any way I am glad to see you are speaking at the event, I think wholesaling is a big part of how alot of Deans students need to start out.most people dont have money or great credit and this is one of the only strategies they can apply.
hope to be there, I know Rina will kill me if I don't show up this yr lol.

Carol, sometimes I see myself in you. The flying thing. My exact problem and promise to never fly again. I like your guts. Go for it Lady. (I was looking at the train schedule to AZ... lol) I hope I'm able to come and meet everyone and experience the whole thing.

Barbara if I could take a train to Arizona I would. However it is going to take 5 hours by plane I could not imagine how long it would take by train.

After all that I have overcome I think I can handle the plane.... GULP!

The EDGE Event in 2009 was a fabulous experience for all of us that attended. I mean it is 9 months later and we are still talking about it. We all learned a lot and were reminded that we can do anything we set our minds to (even getting on a plane Several of us made great friendships that will last forever, not to mention built a support system that we can turn to when we are experiencing self doubt or just need a motivational kick in the butt!

We hope all of you will be at the EDGE 2010 in May! Dean promises to even make this even more impressive and memorable that last year - If that is possible I wouldn't want to miss it. Remember this is one of those times that it is so important to invest in you and your future. You will gain more knowledge that you thought possible (I cannot tell you the number of Ah Ha moments we had and everyone else from 2009). You will also get a chance to take these DG.com relationship to the next level. Imagine actually sitting down and having lunch with Rina - you can actually do that - We did!

Please make this one of you goals and resolutions for 2010. It's going to be a once in a lifetime experience. We'll see you there!!!

Carol, congrats on getting to speak and share your amazing story and success at the event. I'm sure you will be teaching and helping all who attend. You are an inspiration to many. Kinda a rags to riches story, not that you were poor on the street and have millions, but from not having much to making 60k with your partner by sitting at home working from the computer, that is pretty darn good!!! I am sure you are so pumped as I'm sure everyone is for the event.

Do we have to wait until May? How about one in Feb and another in May? I am actually in Tucson now so that works for me, and I would still be there in May also.

Can‘t wait to meet you (and everyone else!!) in person, to give you a big fat hug and tell you CONGRATULATIONS on changing your life!! I will love hearing you tell your story, and even more importantly, share the technique that has made you (and KEPT you) successful! I know there are many who are in the shoes you were in, but have the heart of a lion just like you and are ready to make this work for them!!

I thought nothing could top last year’s event, but just like Dean expects US to be always learning and growing., he expects the same from himself, and from the details I know so far, this year’s event is going to blow last year’s away!!!!

I work from home and do all of the paperwork and marketing to buyers on the computer, fax all the contracts and make all the phone calls. My partner looks at the properties and does a repair estimate, shows the property to buyers and goes to all the closings. This is how our partnership works.

We think Carol's partnership is great! The key is finding a partnership that works for you and that utilizes your strengths. That is also the beauty of a power team. Have everyone working where they individually excel, but focused on the same common goal. When that happens everyone wins and everyone makes $$$$

I have been on this website for a few months. I was inspired by your story of investing at home with a partner and want to say congratulations. I have followed your story and others on this website. You mentioned that in July 2008 you were in foreclosure and in December 2009 you stated you were losing your home to foreclosure. I also read that you made $30,000 last year. Are you still losing your home even though you have made all this money? I feel bad and don’t understand this. In your prior stories you indicate that your husband owns a construction company and does a lot of the work for your deals. Is your husband one of the 2 partners you have talked about? I know you had mentioned a real estate agent was one of your other partners too? I am still a little confused how all this is done from home? Doesn’t your husband look at the properties to still do estimates and does the work for the deals? I believe I read about a property that had a fire that he did all the repairs. Can you better explain step by step what it is that you do, explain your 2 partners and who they are and how you found them and what makes your partnership work based on what each of the partners do? What an amazing turn of events in your life!!!! I can only imagine how you feel winning the contest and now sharing your story and techniques at the live event! You are living the dream girl!!!!! Last years event changed my life in so many ways....meeting everyone in person, all the knowledge...all the POSITIVE ENERGY!!!! Its a nonstop high 24/7! So if you are planning on going - plan on arriving like Rina says - ready to LEARN, CHANGE, and GROW!!! I am waiting anxiously for the dates to be announced....I thought it would be in April again and foolishly made non-changeable plans in May....so my stomach is in knots thinking I might miss it.....its unimaginable....so for everyone else keep your calendars clear and be ready to sign up asap....its the chance of a lifetime and will stay with you forever! Like Chip & Andrea said - its almost a year since the last one and we are STILL talking about it and reliving it in our minds!!!!
