Just because It's on MLS doesn;t mean it's not FSBO

Just because It's on MLS doesn;t mean it's not FSBO

There are services online that offer flat fee MLS listings, and on these terms:

Basic Package $95
Includes listing your new homes on the MLS for 3 months with one image.

Extended Package $295
Includes listing your new homes on the MLS for 6 months with 8 images, and a yard sign.

Full Package $495
Includes listings for your new homes on the MLS for 12 month with up to 15 images.

Why am I mentioning this? It had me thinking...I see homes on MLS periodically with only 1 picture and think to myself. WHY!? Well Maybe this is why! The home is FSBO, the owner has little money, wants to save as much as possible by avoiding a Realtors 6% but get as much exposure as possible.

So the next time you see an MLS listing with only 1 photo, look and see when it was listed. Chances are it could be a cheap service like above and the owner is desperate to sell after the MLS exposure ends in 3 months. Smiling

Hmmm

Jonny, you might be on to something here. Now I'm going to make a not of all listings that I've past over because of only having one picture.

Thanks.

Interesting.

Interesting. I didnt think that anyone could just list on MLS without a realtor.

I didn't either! I came

I didn't either! I came across online services that provide it for a small fee. I can't name them on the site but I wanted to share with the DG group my thoughts when coming across MLS listings with only 1 picture. What Realtor would make permissible only one picture to showcase a property on the MLS?!

Well, here's an answer!
