When I began in real estate 15 years ago I was 17 years old.
I was told even from the very beginning that I could not do real estate. These words came from my parents, realtors, friend and maybe you "17? Can someone at that age do real estate?"
I needed people around me to boost me up.
I once heard a quote that has stuck with me for years: "If you want to fly with the Eagles do not dwell with the Turkeys".
Knowing this I sought opportunity with others that are "Eagles".
I suggest the same for all investors. Those that start may find themselves avoiding opportuntiy to spend time with other successful investors. Some my hide behind a computer hoping to find comfort from others (this does add some value).
I do suggest however, that any beginning investor take part in a Real Estate Investment Club. Find one. Partake with Eagles. Knowing others around you are successful will launch you farther than simple learning. Truly knowing others are successful will give you the amazing strength to push through hard times.
