I was wondering what is the proper way to make a profit, since Im not a license real-estate agent being a investor if I help a homeowner sell their house to a willing buyer how can I make a profit from the deal. Should I tell them to put me in the contract and get paid at the closing. I know normally if I sell to another investor I could put the property on contract and sell the contract to the investor.

What do you want to do? Do you want to assign this property to another investor and make a small profit? Are you talking about a specific property right now or are you speaking in general?

You could use the "Marketing Consultant Agreement" in Profit from Real Estate Right Now,Page 227!It says something about doing an auction but I believe that can be tweaked,Just double check it.

Thanks for replying I thinking more as being the middle man between the homeowner and the buyer but I want to make a profit in the process. Someone told me about the "marketing consultant form" are you farmilar with that form ?

Just a suggestion, but you really should read the book. It will tell you how to use that form properly and give you insight on how to close the deal on both ends.
