Can anyone help me find a good real estate agent? Or, maybe give me an example of how they found theirs. I have talked to a couple agents by calling them and neither of them new what assigning was and told me they would have a problem putting in alot of offers because it wasn't ethical. I know i should be getting frustrated but for some reason it just got under my skin. Thanks guys!

Hey wrldfamus247,
My name is Irvin and i have just recently got a kick ass agent. First off you will want to
-get a list a remax/keller willam offices in your area
-Call a office and you want to talk to the receptionist ** very important
-Tell the receptionist what you want... Hi my name is xxx, im an investor in the area and im looking for an agent that works with investors, do you have anyone currently in your office that works with investors? she will direct you to that agent or give you his extension or personal #
-when you do get on the phone with the agent (he wont BITE or HURT you phycially, that was MY MAIN issue) and explain again who you are and what you do. if he says yes, great now interview him,
ask him how many investors,
what strategies do his other investors use,
how many prop do they purchase,
what are the hot area's,
what the turn key (how much do they make 5-30k or more? (theres scripes on DG that have list of questions)
....If the agent truly does work with other investors then it should be a smooth and easy conversation, if not, then DO NOT CONVINCE THE AGENT IN WHAT YOU ARE DOING! keep it moving to the next agent.
After you guys are on board together, ask him to send you a list of recent cash bought properties and to email them to you.
thats alot of info so please review this and USE IT, its exactly what i did to get a rocken RE agent.
you don't want to have to tell them 'everything' that you're doing or try to explain to them in detail. When things don't sound familiar to re agents who don't work with investors, they will tell you that what you're doing is either ilegal or unethical...
all you need to know is if they are willing to put in many offers for you with a lower than asking price...
wishing you success,
Valerie
