Hello everyone Leroy here and I'm new to real estate investing. I'm located in the SC area and I'm looking for someone that can assist me with the proper standard paper work that investors use to bring to the table.(closing) I went to one title company in my area and I was told that the contract that I had couldn't be used, but another title company said that I could use it with them long as it's a cash deal only. I only had one contract and that was the ''Investors Disclosure Statement and Seller's Acknowledgement'' attach with a ''Agreement to Purchase'' I know it's more paper work that I would need for investors that would work in SC or work in all 50 states, if someone could please assist me with this info I will greatly appreciate it.
Here are a couple of options
1- You can contact a realtor and have them submit the offer on an official state contract.
2- You can visit your local board or realtors store and pick up a contract there.
3- Google search Real estate contract in your state.
There are times that title companies are a little gun shy about using documents that they aren’t familiar or comfortable with. Nothing to worry about, just change the contract that you are using.
As a new person to real estate, you have a lot of other things to worry about rather than finding a Real Estate Purchase Contract. You need to:
1. Study and learn all you can. It takes a lot of time, but it is essential.
2. Get your Power Team together.
3. Start building your Buyer's List.
Included in your Power Team is a really good real estate agent who will work hard for you, including, but not limited to, preparing your offers on their state approved forms. You need to find your buyers, get to know what properties they want to purchase, and then get out there and find them. Let your Power Team do what they do best.
Good luck.
