Real Estate Agent - What should I look for?

Real Estate Agent - What should I look for?

What personality traits, characteristics, and criteria should I look for when deciding on a Real Estate Agent to work with?

Any advice? All views are welcome.

Thank you,

Guys

There are three of you? You guys should get together and find (you will go through several) an agent you like and can work with. There is no formula. You had better figure out what your professional approach to getting an agent to work for you will be. If you tell them you will be assigning contracts and have no money they are not likely to work with you. So often it is all about the investor, you have to bring something to the table for your agent. What will you do for them and how? If you say it's all about all the deals you will do, how are you going to PRODUCE??
Get out there and start making offers through numerous agents, develop YOUR characteristics and criteria. Develop your buying strategies and list of ACTUAL cash buyers.
What are you going to say when an agent asks "how will you fund your deals and do you have proof of funds you can supply me with"? If you respond, "we will assign contracts a-duh and we don't have proof of funds we are just starting a- duh and we want to offer 50 cents off the listed price on move in ready homes a-duh", you will go through a lot of agents.
Just by asking the question, it shows you guys have some work to do. Figure this stuff out, brainstorm and use some common sense!

Good Luck!
