This thread is for the new or fairly new people and as I think about it, it's for anyone and everyone.
Why did you buy Dean's Books? was it for something to do, was it for what you percieve is getting rich, was it a suggestion from someone who wants you to actually do something positive for themselves and/or their family.
Whatever the reason, you did it. You did it for whatever reason(s) that are personal to you, but once again you did it or someone did it for you.
What I love about this business is that it can be started part time and with nothing more than a dollar and a dream, well you can actually do it with just a dream.
I love this business because it is a business that really has unlimited opportunity. Are you going to become a millionaire overnight? well if your in California, Florida, Las Vegas or New York City, you could.
If you found a deal on a estate home that you can pick up for $500,000.00 that is worth $2.5 Million and you flip it for $1,5 million, than yes, seemingly you would have made a million dollars overnight so to speak, but lets come down to what I like to call Beginners Reality 101.
After reading Deans books and if you have no issues with grasping the concepts, you could go out and find a deal, where you can flip or assign it, same thing and make a few thousand dollars or more.
If you get good at it and you work it, you can do two to three deals a month, with some effort.
Now that is enough for those who actually bought the book(s) and got to work. Lets now talk about those who don't.
Do you honestly believe that you cannot do this? if you do, thats a shame because there are more deals to go around than there are actual investors.
This is a business where you can actually make enough money on one deal to get yourself out of debt and the second deal gets you back on track.
The book is just words on paper, well alot of words. They come to life when you get to work.
The next time your saying I can't do this, think about the fact that sitting in front of you or near you or in a closet someplace is a group of strategies that work and have worked for so many, so why can't it work for you.
On this forum are many who were so broke that they couldn't afford to put gas in their car and with their last few dollars, took action and in weeks made enough money to get back on track.

Dean's book (Profit from RE right now) because I am tired of always scraping by. Now that we have 2 kids (now 4 & 6), we want to be able to provide a college education for them (or at least be able to put a big dent in the bill). It would be nice not to have to check the checkbook before wondering if we can afford to do something that our kids want to do as a family (like ride the santa train at the local railroad or go to the local kids museum).
Since real estate is something I already knew... it makes complete sense. I also have a fundamental need to help people and this is a big area where people need it these days.

for posts such as this that helps put things back in perspective! We do have our ups and downs in life especially around the holiday shopping seasons such as now, but this serves as a perfect reminder to get back to the fundamentals and stay focused!
Hey, great thoughts, Paulie! We all need kicks in the butt sometimes. I have friends who have been watching me do my deals, and I tell them how, but they're still full of fear paralysis and won't get off the couch even when I offer to help.
I've been taking that same fear and doing my deals. Fear of poverty can be a great impetus and is a greater fear than failure.
Well, if they can't afford bread because they bought Dean's books, then let 'em eat cake! (Joke, folks - no letters, please!)
I bought Dean's books to change my lifestyle. To improve my life -- by opening up a whole new world .

I bought the book because i want to change my life,and help people along the way and lookin at deans infomercial dean had that look on his face,the look that he really wanted me to have this book so,i got it,so glad i did just this book alone and me reading cann't explain my joy and i haven't made a deal yet,but the go thing is i'm a doer.when i get past that first deal and move forward to getting more deals,plus get that money stack up i'm going to by DEAN ONE!case he want to stop by. well have fun DG family keep sharing keep doin wht yea doin!!!!!

I Got Deans Books & Program Because I like many am tired of Barely getting by month & after month before the end of the Month I don't have A dime to call my own After Rent & Plenty Of Bills & Debt that I can't even start to pay down yet cause I don't have the money .
With Deans Books & DVD's & The Edge DVD set & all & praticing The Strategies even though I haven't got A Deal yet it Gives me A Better feeling to know that If I need $500 or even $500K to pay the bills I can Do few Step's & Get A deal or Deal's done & within Weeks or Months I can have A check in the mail that ables me to Pay Bills & pay for the things I need .
& with having at least $25,000 or + Worth of Debt lingering on your Shoulders every day & night its not easy Or fun Cause No one wants to Rent to you Or give you A loan for A Home & I want more I know theres More to life then Been Stuck in A Debt snake pit Cause thats exactly What the Creditors are Snakes That are there to Squeeze every Dollar & dime out of you Especially If your like myself & most American's Living Check to Check each Month Yes they'll Love you & Squeese you to Death until You start Paying them off & then they'll Hate you cause they can't get that last Dollar out of you.
& My First Commission Check is going to Paying off all my Debts Completely & Saving up For A Home of my own & Helping A few Homeless Families Cause I'm sure theres A few Homeless Families that could use $500 or $500K to get on there Feet .

Also the Feeling Of Been able to Get up & Read A Book , Get online & do Few steps & A Few Deal's & get A Few Checks in the mail & pay Bills & Buy Food & whatever you need Its Beautiful to be able to know that you can make Money to Pay bills & you don't really have to Do much Unless you Just want to , You can use your Home Computer Or Personal Laptop & set at home & do A few Deals .
