Business Cards- New Investor Help

Business Cards- New Investor Help

Hi I am new at investing and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what I should focus on. Can someone tell me which market I should consider going after if I want to make a few thousand a month to pay my bills. And what kind of business cards should i print up. I don't have a company as yet but hopefully will make a couple of $$ to open one soon, so the cards are going to be with my name. Any information will help. thanks

Business Cards

SuzieO , Hi
Just recently I got my business cards done . They are simple , black on white , just like the lawyers and doctors have it . Name , company name , job , phone # and email . I always carry them with me , and I would talk to everyone about what I am doing . It's amazing how different they are looking at you , if you know something !
Now I can't advice you what type of investing you should get in , it's up to you , Girl .

Good luck .

Stephen , one way to go ,

Stephen , one way to go , considering you did your home-work on the property , approach a family member , to lend you the money for a year ( that would give you time to fix and flip it , depends of location , etc ) . Or maybe you have an IRA account .
Keep in mind that there are different type of bank packages as well , but for that you need a good credit .
Another way to go , and you are sure that your deal is a DEAL , try hard-money lenders ( go to hard money lenders and the name of your city ) , they are borrowing you based of the value of the property ( and not your credit ) , keep in mind that sometimes they asking for high interest ( I've heard cases where they asked for 10% downpayment , plus 1.5% per month ! ) , so do the math , and make sure that you know everything about the deal
( add up the price of the property NEGOTIATE !!! , plus 20% fixed costs plus the amount for improvement plus the amount you want to make on it , and see if it's adding up to a realistic price-under the market value for easy flipping )
This doesn't mean that they won't ask for some papers from you ( like income , etc. )
Good luck and keep on eye on Dean's web page , is very resourceful for everyone .

Business Cards

Looking at "Vista Print" as a simple way to purchase business cards [250 or 500 depending upon offers], and I do mean simple as in the very basic type with who you are, your address, what you do i.e. Real Estate Investor, what you purchase i.e. residential or single family, or apartments/multiplexes, or commercial, or all three!, phone number (cell preferably, otherwise a landline), fax (if you have one), and website (provided "FREE" from Dean). This should get you going in the REI business. Just pay for shipping, no more than $4.00 or so and Shazam! You're in Business!
