There is a meeting in Culver City tomorrow night. This club charges $29 per meeting and offers two levels (silver & gold) of membership. Tomorrow night's topic is Short Sales. They will also be having a seminar this coming Saturday, same location, going into greater depth on the subject. Same price.

The second group I go to meets the last Wednesday of the month in Beverly Hills. There is no charge to go to these meetings. Believe me, it is not because they are in anyway inferior. They are just trying to help as many people as possible take advantage of this market, in much the same way Dean does not charge for use of DG.com while all his competitors charge for use of their sites.

If you're interested in going tomorrow night, please let me know and I'll get you all the info.

The group in Culver City meets the second Tuesday of every month. The Beverly Hills group meets the last Wednesday of the month. I try to send out reminders a day or two before each.

There is an REIC meeting tomorrow, Saturday, May 15. Meetings are held at the Radisson Hotel, 6161 W. Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90230, 310-649-1776 (hotel's #). Meeting starts at 9:30 am, so get there earlier to network and check in. Cost is $29.

Two topics are the focus of tomorrow's meeting. The first is on how to decide which deals to make offers on and what to offer. The second is on unique ways to find motivated sellers.

There is no charge to attend this club's meetings, which is highly unusual. Real estate clubs are hands-down the easiest and most effective way to find motivated buyers. I just joined the group and have started implementing Dean’s ideas. I’m looking to partner up with like-minded investors. I’ll be attending the IRCA meeting on Tuesday. Information below. Let’s meet.

Bruce Norris will be the speaker at the IRCA-Los Angeles General Meeting of the New Year this coming Tuesday, January 4th.

One warning though: come early. When Bruce speaks, the room is full and once capacity is reached, no one else is admitted.

There is complimentary food & coffee, but it’ll go quickly. I’d certainly get there no later than 6:30 pm when the General Meegin starts, but I’d recommend you come for the Pro’s Corner at 5:30 pm.

The REO Mentor himself, Tony Alvarez, will be making a rare appearance in the Pro’s Corner at 5:30 pm to answer your personal questions 1-on-1 for 5 minutes each to those who sign up when they arrive.

The meeting is held at the Four Points Sheraton, 5990 Green Valley Circle (at Sepulveda and the 405 San Diego Freeway) in Culver City.

I just found out about the meeting tonight at the BH country club and would have gone if I new about it earlier. I just saw this forum tonight. I am a newbie to the DG program am interested in learning more. Especially how it can be applied in Los Angeles. Tried to join your group but don' t know if you received the request. I am planning on attending the Culver City meeting in June. Do you know the date and the speaker? Did you get any productive information from the speaker tonight? My husband and I have attempted to call REO realtors, but many of them done return calls and aren't that friendly. It would be great to find out how to contact the banks directly. Thanks!
