What area of Michigan are you looking into? I just moved out of state a couple months ago but all my relatives still live in west MI not far from the Grand Rapids area.
I'm living in the southwestern corner in Berrien County. I've been trying to find others who also live in this state, kinda gettin' lonely only being able to communicate through the forums. Anyway, let me know where you are so I can add you to my slowly growing list of other DG members in MI.

I am direct to the VP of a $100 million dollar open-ended debt and equity fund which actively writes checks to fund businesses with an EBITDA of at least $1 million a year. We fund also have access to up to $500,000,000 for the purchase of distressed real estate, specially commercial $7,500,000 and up.
I am doing assignment contracts here in west Michigan, just getting started myself. Would like to keep in touch since here we do not have any real estate clubs here in my area. I have everything set up to hopefully make my first deal in Jan 2012. Best to everyone.
