Hi; I have gotten 3 of Dean's books and am devouring them. I have finished "Your Town Your Real Estate Profits" ( I read that in PDF form while I was waiting for my books to arrive ) and I also have "Profit from Real Estate Right Now" I just Recently bought "Be a Real Estate Millionaire and am reading it now. I haven't joined my local REI club, but I plan to do that in the next two weeks. I have been actively pursuing deals and I have two real estate agents looking for deals in my area. I have a couple of deals I'm working on, I just need to find the funding. I have a funder that will fund flips but I'm not sure how to structure deals so I can get out of it if I can't find a buyer.
Sorry this is such a long post. Just let me end by saying I am on this sight everyday and I try to read as many posts as I can. You guys are AWESOME. I have never found a group of people so helpful to us newbies and so willing to share information to help us succeed.
Thanks for all you do.

I am willing to share the knowledge that I have. I sent you a PM. Let's talk.
I bought Deans book years ago and never read it through. This past year rec'd his next 2 books and only read some of each one. But I joined the Success Academy and really started to learn, and now just rec'd the Set For Life.
If you can join the Academy and become a student, it is well worth it, and gives you the tools and coaches you need.
I am still new and hoping to write contracts this week.
Everyone has financial problems, and I am totally stressed that way. But I still found a way to join his programs. I have to make payments, but I'll do what I can to get them.
Welcome aboard and don't be like me and be to scared to try. Just do it!
And don't be afraid to ask.

I've found what I think are some great investments but I have a realestate agent saying that I cant assign any properties to an investor. They say I have to buy it myself. After listening to Carol Stinson I know thats not true so someone please tell me what to say or do to make the agent understand. By the way the properties are in Pa. Im new and ancious to get some deals under my belt so please help me....

I live in Wis and a realtor told me that we can only do 4 assignments a year in Wis. but you can do a double closing.
I had called an real estate attorney in my town and asked if he could help me with an assignment to make sure this one was okay in Wis..He basically laughed at me, told me that Dean is teaching me wrong and that my realtor should go back to school, because there is no such thing.
Same atty office, 1 month later, different atty, I called him and read my assignment, and he said it was fine.
So don't believe all that they might say. I would call an atty and just ask them, they will tell you for free if that is acceptable in Pa. and then ask if they would be an atty for your network. Then they are more willing to answer your questions.
Really, just sound like you are more confident when asking the realtor. I think if they don't want to mess with that contract, they just tell you it is impossible. Keep persuing until you get the answer.

Thanks Sandi Im going to keep trying.
