I am wondering how to get started with no money, no job, and bad credit.
Read Dean's books. They give you step by step instructions.

Look for all the information you can find on this site about Assignment of Contracts. This is the best way to get start for someone in your situation. There will be a ton on information that you can read an learn from on this site.
As far as the first thing to do, I would suggest building a buyers list to start finding properties for.

The Buyer's List (Investor List) is exactly the right thing to do. Eric's advice is correct. Line up some cash investors that would be willing to buy good deals from (or through) you. Once you have several buyers ready to go then you can hunt for the deals and be reasonably assured that one of your buyers will want to purchase.

I would also suggest finding and attending a real estate investor club (REIC) in your area. There are a ton of websites that you can use to find some clubs but the 2 I use are www.creonline.com and www.meetup.com.
At these clubs you will meet people that you can place on your buyers list but you will also meet people that you can use for your power team i.e. real estate agents, contractors, inspectors, mortgage brokers, etc.
In addition to the possibility of finding buyer's the REIC will also be a boost to to the ole psyche. It will help you to see that real estate investing is possible with no money, no credit, and no job.
