Yes, I'm ready after the Edge for the Hyper lane highway. I've got a pass to go full speed ahead. No penalties for massive action taken!
It was a thrill to spend time with you and other DG Fam. There was a lot of L O V E in that room, supporting tons of knowledge and endless inspiration and motivation.
A feeling unlike any other gathering. We are of like mind and truly pulling for each other.
I'm going to be on that stage next year telling the story of skyrocketing success.
I thank you.
Meeting Carol Stinson was a privilege. I admire her so.

The Joe Polish quote "Getting rich slowly is stupid" was actually one he said at the Edge Event. For some reason that quote was my ahhh hahhh moment...

The Edge Event was life changing for me as I am sure it was for most who attended! I loved meeting new friends and plan on connecting with many of you soon.

What a great blog Dean. We are still on a Edge high. Seeing Carol on stage again remotivated me even more. We have a closing this week on a house we are buying for 14k in Illinois. So yes this does work people.

It's exciting to hear stories like Carol's. It really puts into perspective what's possible when you put in all the time in effort. I guess since I don't have any kids (let alone 7) I have no excuses.

At the same time, I personally feel like if I had been in carol's position where it was literally "Make money now or lose my kids," I would have been pretty successful by now. So in a wierd way, I'm almost envious of the postition she was in. I don't feel like I'm in position of urgency or that I HAVE to do this right now.

Somehow I've got to get my feeling of "Want" changed to a feeling of "Need."

I am SO inspired by you, and I didn't even get a chance to really talk to you other than to meet you. As another mom, I KNOW this is NOT easy to do with kids! NEXT year I hope to talk to you more, and Gena, I will be up on that stage with you and Jay! That's one of my goals for sure!

The energy there just can not be described; any words put to it doesn't do it justice. The confidence it brings out in one is ecstatic overload.

Dean, meeting you was an absolute thrill, and I brought ALL my books with the mindset that SOMEHOW I was going to get you to sign them all, and wallaaa, it happened!

But I was also overwhelmed to meet Makeba, Karen, Jay, Rina, Joe and Stacey, all the members of the success academy that were there, Ali, Chad, Virginia, Louisa, Karine, Abbot, *takes breath* Scott, Roger, Stacie, Dave and Gay, Patty, Deby, Tina, Steve and Veronica, Jim and Lisa, Carol, Laura, Randy, Matt, and anyone else I missed (and I apologize if I missed anyone! ) (and of course Megan!!) and it was completely awesome! Something about meeting people you see online everyday here on this site or talk to on the phone to is so wonderful! I wish I had gotten to meet EVERYONE, but there just wasn't enough time!

I hope my energy from the event lasts the whole year too.

I am so burning up inside. I cannot understand how I have been missing the boat and not moving ahead in this endeavor. I have been trying so hard. Sometimes I get soooooo discouraged because of all of this. I am going to hang onto the BIG thing (for me) that Carol said today, "Pick ONE and go with it!" Enough said.

I am so pleased to see Rina and Laura on each side of Carol. Those three are some of my favorites on this site. I remember meeting them at Edge 2010 and what a pleasure that was. I wish that I had been able to attend this year and finally get a chance to meet Tammy in person. I missed the camaraderie I experienced with each one of the gentlemen and ladies at last years conference. I can attest to the encouragement gained by just being there and sharing with everyone!!!

How great is it when you have a mentor that keeps you updated weekly with relivant materials. To see faces of the names of the superstars on this site!! Everyone with their own success story to share with all!! and then to see that MY STATE is the one that got the first two houses by Matt and Dean offered up to us!! I have to say today people are going to be asking what is up with me because I've got a HUGE smile!!Thanks for making my day....

Thanks for doing these blogs Dean, you are my weekly RE caffene.

The motivation, inspiration, jubilation and on and on just never stops. Like everybody else on here, I get that feeling "well, if THEY can do it, so can I!!" and I am! I started taking my first steps, my goals are sky high. Like Carol & Joe have said, getting rich slowly is stupid. That prompted a reassessment of how I was starting into RE. So I got off my bicycle and strapped on a jet pack. Yeah, it might hurt more when I fall but I'll autograph the crater and move on.

We had a gorgeous weekend up here in Western NY and the high spirits are still continuing into today. Can't get much better than that (well, other than the EDGE I mean of course).

Thanks for another weekly blog. These really help keep me pumped up. Like everyone else has stated, EDGE was a life changing event for us. We are even more determined to make things happen. Like Carol, the Joe Polish quote "Getting rich slowly is stupid" really stuck with us. One of the many things that continue to impress us about the dg family is everyone's desire to help each other and give back. We are cranking this thing up and giving it our all so we can be "rich" and give back too.

I had to watch this video again. Thank you dean, and Carol, for your story and encouragements. I could not go to the edge, but all of you are inspiring. I actually teared up watching this the 1st time. The "Getting rich slowly is stupid" quote makes sense, though. If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

Wonderful story and info. I have a lot of respect for people that do what Carol did and accomplished! Congratulations to her, and I'm going to let it sink in and let it work. The houses are great as well.

HA HA! That's too funny Carol! My hubby asked me when I'm going to be able to say what you said when he watched the blog (that's another miracle ), so I responded... "what do you mean? I did build $217K in equity last year and increased our cash flow by over $700 a month (once that darn REFI goes through)! Those two combined, that's more than you're making by far!" Response: SILENCE!!!!

Then, this is what is AWESOME! He went on CL going to look for some deals!!! I think what he heard at the EDGE is now starting to sink in! Thanks for the reminder by posting this Dean, and Carol, for your comments. He put himself on the spot inadvertently. WHOOOOOMP, THERE IT IS! Empowerment!!! Thanks Carol and Dean!!! Man, what a great way to spend 10 min today watching an EXCELLENT WEEKLY BLOG!! : ) Dean, this is why I'm so grateful to you for instilling the values and wisdom of Real Estate and collaborating them with principles of everyday life. It's why I always motivate myself to never give up, but to also to push myself to want to better myself and my life!

And of course, beautiful job Carol at this year's Edge event. Just like everyone as well, I joined in with the jeering of "Ooohh" when you made that funny comment about telling your husband that even if you're still in your pj's, you still made more today than he does in a year! LOL!! But you are so right and I'll never forget this, as it was also mentioned in Dean's book Profit from Real Estate Right Now....Is that if YOU can do this, then so can anyone else out there, NO MATTER WHAT!!
