I found my way here didn't I?
To further explain;
At age 11 I made a list of goals. Some were specific, some were general, and some were philosophical regarding the way I wished to lead my life.
Now that I am getting ready to turn 50, I've discovered that 'reflecting upon ones life' takes on a whole new meaning and purpose. And if you've done life right? Whoa the revelations of reflection can be an awesome experience!
What I realized recently is that, I never at the age of 11 or at any time wrote a list of my goals. I simply made a decision that this was the way it was going to go.
And now having obtained most of those goals, looking back it all seems to have come to me so easily! What's more is that it's become blindingly apparent to me that subconsciously I've lived every moment of my life seeking to fulfill the goals I set as a youth.
All of my individual successes, my rotten failures, every single choice I've made at a crossroad has ultimately lead me here. And I'm loving it! Yes! I've had a wonderfully interesting life. And Yes! I've made Huge Mistakes, but thank God almighty not one regret that I made them.
Now you may wonder where all this is leading. Well honestly I'm giving myself a great big pat on the back! But if you look a little deeper there is something here for you too.
I believe that no matter what religion, that the power of your Faith resides within you. All you have to do is decide and then expect to get what you want. Write it down or not, tell someone or don't... but simply keep expecting and sooner or later, (and often times in a way you least expect it), your Faith will guide you to what you seek. I promise!
Because after all, I found my way here didn't I?
Best wishes to you,
Terri Jensen-Brown
