I haven't used them myself, but I have read a lot of posts on DG.com about people using them. They are also recommended in the RockBottomBluePrint.

The recommendation is 25 to start. Check them every two weeks. I am sure you know the requirements for bandit signs and what the sign police does or doesn't do in your town.

As long as you put them out on the weekend (Friday afternoon or after 5pp to Sunday nite, early Monday morning), you are fine. The sign police usually don't work on the weekends.

Thishousebuyer is right, but not all towns will pull up the signs mon-fri. Just see what happens when you stick them out.
