I purchased "Real Estate Millionaire" last December and plan to finish the book before the new year came in and enter the Mentor Program by the first week in January 2009. I accomplished both. Now my goal is to learn Dean's techniques to buy and sell real estate for myself, help provide housing for others, give more to charities and show at risk youth since I teach them how to use their monies legally to buy and sell real estate. I feel that God placed me in this environment in order to help them turn their lives around. Lord knows I have tried to leave. It is challenging I must say, but I can't complain because when you see that they are looking for love and structure that is something that I provide. When they do turn their lives around and become productive it is such a good feeling. There are tears of joy. Anyway I decided to start a journal due to a family member in the forum in order to share my experience. My faith in God is powerful and I know I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Congrats on accomplishing your goals and setting the new ones!
I can feel your passion for what you do. Thank you for putting YOUR life into the lives of those kids. It's people like you that make this world a better place, ESPECIALLY for those whose world already looks bleak.

Since I am new in the Mentor Program, I had several questions that needed to be answered. I am glad I emailed them because I would have been doing unnecessary reading at this time. The consultant was very thorough and took their time with answering my questions. The consultant advised me to read certain material relating to the method birdogging that I will be using. Now if I did not call and explain my questions I would have wasted valuable time. Just to let you know that it pays to email them because after all that's why they are there to help you. Trust me you will have questions that need an answer. For those in the program make sure you take advantage of emailing them. They will get back with you within a reasonable time and if it can't be answered through email they will get in touch via phone. That's it for now.

I am still working on completing the Academy. I have had several health challenges. However, I am still pressin on. I went to look at 10 propeties two weeks ago and was very excited. My partner works in city government in one of the counties as supervisor for tax lien department. That's a plus for me. Took pictures, called real estate agent and my partner went back to work on Monday to do her research about them. They are on hold for now because we found two more in a redevelopment area in the John Hopkins Area of the city the biggest private employer in the State of Maryland at reasonable prices. Hopefully we will be able to check them out on Saturday 2/28/09 and have success. I attended a webinar about saving 100 or more tax deductions for your business. A lot of you I know may not know all of your tax deductions. I just happen to mention it to my accountant and she checked into it and registered. Registration fee is waived until March 16th.
