This sounds similar to those scams people try to run via email. I get emails all the time saying that I won or qualify for some massive amount of money; but I need to give out personal information (identity theft/credit fraud) or send some money ("consentual robbery"). Thanks for the heads up.

That's why this is such a great site. We all help when we can.

Theres a wave of scammers going around trying to take your money...They will get your bank info and personal info some how and get all your money from your accounts.

Becarefull with free ad site also they are evrywhere...They operate in the UK and ****... There was a investigation on this in 20/20 or 60 minutes

Thanks so much for this post! I had one similar today that said I inherited 6.7 million from the President of ****. All I had to do was send them all of my personal information and they would send me 2 packages that would be hand delivered to my home. Hmmm....sounds a little fishy to me as I have no family of that heritage. The only other fishy thing about this was that they would be declaring the so call inheritance money through customs as Photography Film Materials. I was told to go to the FBI's website and tell them about these scams so that they can post them on their website to prevent others from falling victim to these crooks.
Thanks again for posting this and letting us all know how shady people are to make a quick buck off of a poor undeserving individuals.

Jan's partner here.. Once we called this guy out he stopped contacting us for a few days and then asked to speak on phone. Before that he was emailing us left and right, replying so fast to all of our emails. A little reasearch by me on google founf that this 'Donal Marx' had posts on some other re sites as well. donaldmarx08 @ **** donaldmarx @ **** donaldmarx80 @ ****, he had a profile picture on one of these sites. I found him on another site with the same profile picture under the name of gabriel with an email similar to all of his others. If something is just to good to be true then it prob. is. Do your research and be careful! I found an article on internet where a woman was scammed by this man, claiming she was offered a loan as well, did a bank transfer for a lot of money to get the loan, and then he claimed he needed a lot mroe $$ to complete the transaction. I wired someone over 25k not so long ago and it costed me 25 bucks. $750-$850 for a bank transfer, from UK or not, is just insane. Be aware!

I'm glad someone posted something because I received a message from someone who just enrolled last week really pushing the private money angle on me. They also made a point to mention that they weren't selling me anything. Could have been a coincedence but something felt off to me.

that has been going on for sometime. I have several of my own businesses and I have been approached many times. They often try to get you to cash their fake checks and offer to give you part of the money from the check and then send them back the rest. Not sure how they think this makes sense. But often people cannot resist the offer, even if it does sound ridiculous. Like the poster said.... too good to be true and in this case, this statement is very valid. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of international "investors" that make these too good to be true offers. No intelligent lender/investor in his right mind would do what these guys offer to do. Scam artists through and through. Good luck everyone!

Thanks to whoever brought this post back out. I think it is a post everyone on this site should read. These scamers have a huge arena here to play to and they know the hot buttons to push. FUNDING. While it is not always easy to secure the funding that we would like, the teachings and support here will guide you in the right direction. Thanks again...Jan

Yeah the key phrasess here were "money transfers" and "out of the country" ergo the UK. Those are the 2 common things to watch for when dealing with swindlers no matter how well they disguise the scams. If those 2 factors are involved, be VERY leery as it probably is a scam. Money x-fers are harder to stop and crooks are harder to catch when they are out of the country.

Thank you for the information. I am just starting out with the DG family and I would hate for someone to scam me or anyone else here. I know I thought this site was going to be free of anything like that. Everything else I have seen here has been so positive.

Thanks Jan for the great info and the name of the ones trying to rip us off here on such a great site. They must think that we do not communicate well here and do not let the others know of such things going on. Well they just got proven wrong and hopefully every one here knows now.
