So glad that you are still alive and making money along with your partners. As usual we can never connect on the cell phone thing. We are very busy, when are we not. Just started the process on a 24 unit complex about 10 miles away. I agree with you about the BS as of late. It took Jeremy and I over 3 years to get where we are and we still learn everyday. We even had a couple of DG members try to blow smoke up my a___ about private financing, but as uaual money talks and the B S walks. So glad to hear you are in the trenches everday like we are. Awesome stuff Randy! Congrats on the 150+ deals and the $2M NW isn't to shabby either! LOL!!!

Agree on the BS alot different here! This is one of like 2 post I've made on here is about 3 wks. Alot of useless drama to be found these days. (Referring mostly to all the quarrelling on threads, to me it's just negative energy that's a waste OF energy and very juvenile).
BUT can't control what others do or don't, just my actions and reactions! So been out kicken tail and taking names! LOL
Sometimes it's better to take it back to the basics, keeping it real and stop complicating things.

Appreciate your value add and being a person of integrity and character!
Unfortunately those are qualities that are rare these days.

Great job and congrats on your accomplishments! I know you've BARELY scratched the surface! Tons of more awesomeness to come!

Nice to see all you superstars on this thread and Randy setting the path straight. WE need more of you experienced folks saying it like it is when things are veering too far to the left or the right. A lot of people get hurt that way, give up, and we all know that feels real crappy.

Superstars, I know it may be tough for you guys to get on here once in a while but... we need you. Most recently, Michael I see often, your patience is AMAZING! And Bamagirl has an awesome motivating thread on bandit signs but YES... it comes down to taking action. We don't all have the money YET to get to the EDGE - but long to be there. We know that would be faster but for now we have the books and DG.com

Like it or not, success breeds responsibility. You guys are the motivators for us ducklings. I know, most of us on here are GRATEFUL you take any time to write answers on here - your time is valuable. HUGE THANK YOU.

And yes, redundant questions and useless threads may be annoying... that's part of the process for some. If you're not compelled to help them, then maybe...Start new threads, stay away from those veering off and help those of us here who value your expertise.

I've been in business since 1987. One thing I know is that when we think we are too big to help the little guy struggling...we are headed in the wrong direction. Randy, congratulations on 150+ deals, that is just awesome. There are lot of people over here on DG.com and I am sure what you are saying about the BS offlate is right but how will a person who is new and seeking advice know if thats a valid advice or not. It's only when experienced people like you advice(when you can spare some time offcourse ) we will know what works and what does not. Thank you for all your postings, really apprecite it.

To everyone on this site who may or may not know Randy...he always tells it like it is, and his story is most inspiring. If you havent read it - DO. I too, am guilty of straying from this site. It was my life line when I started in 08, and here I am doing it full time and also partnering with Randy on some major cool deals...how great is that?!? so I do carry some guilt about not being here to do the same for others. I often log in and read, but dont post for the same reasons as Randy stated. This site is best served by those who have actually taken the time to study and read and THEN bring questions.

Remember everyone - you can collect knowledge and wisdom from many places...but it really comes down to YOU. There is no 'magic pill' here...read the books, use the coaches if you are in the success academy, do your due diligence and go out and find a deal! I still follow the first quote I ever read from Dean that changed my life when I was procrastinating....KNOWLEDGE + ACTION = RESULTS. You can have all the knowledge in the world, take no action so you get nothing. Or, you can take action without any knowledge and then you will most certainly have disastrous results. But when you put them together you WILL create success. And only YOU can bring the action part people. Take the tools you have - everything you need to know is in Deans books...then run with it!

So glad to see such postive feed back. Its so great to get to travel the US and Canada doing boots on the ground and one on ones. And no matter were I go their are deals. And the BIG bonis is all the GREAT friends I am making, ANd must admitt, Have some great partners that you would kill for. Just stay postive guys and do a little each and every day and you get their. PS Guess what they are all part of the DG family.

I am no experience real estate investor, but I have learnt from experiences and reading daily on site or Dean's books. When I don't know, I don't know, and sometimes with my suggestions there is always room for correction. I have no problem being corrected if it is done politely and positively. I have learned a lot while among the DG family and could always rely on additional information. Congrats Randy for 150+, continued success. God Bless.

It can seem like a chore somethimes, trying to sift through the thousand or so threads that all ask the same question.

I've found that going back in the archives to the early days of some of the biggest names in this DG family is where you find the most value-packed questions and answers, even today! Your right though, I'm doing my part and just trying to join the diamond club along side all the other sages here.

Thank you Randy for your inspiration. I haven't posted because I've been at a self-pity party, haha! Not really I'm over it now. I have some knowledge and some skills but I have thrown myself into it half-a__ if you know what I mean. There are so many excuses and time stealers; I've got them all. But I can say this I haven't given up at all. I have my 4th deal under contract (assignment deal) but it's taking it's sweet time to close. I have my first buy/hold property that is giving me $200+ positive cash flow. I don't know the BS you are speaking of because I don't get on here much. I can say this I have been putting in offers and you don't get them all. I am so in awe of you and still don't know how you made it through those few days of training with Matt when you were so sick. I think of that often to make me realize there are no excuses. I can say the success comes only when you take action and then that opens more doors (opportunities)! I hope to catch up with everyone at the next Edge event as long as it's not May 20th (no excuse but it is my daughter's high school graduation, haha!) Take care and I'm so glad to read the posts from all the successful DG Superstars; I would name you all but then if I left someone out I'd feel awful. Well things are getting a lot better. I am not home much at this time but thats OK. I do what I have to do to make this work. Left Calf home one day lsft for KC. Will be home one day tthen off to the north east. But you see this is what ti takes for me. And I am very lucky to have a understanding WIFE And great partners. So glad to here from all of you. I have mayed so many good friends on here. A lot i have got to meet and can;t wait to meet the rest. Wish you all the best. If you are having trouble just start over. Do a 21 day plan. And on each and every day do something with REI. BUy th end of 21 days it will become habbit. Got to go and find some homes. Have a great one.

Randy - Thanks for telling it like it is. I have been in the Success Academy for 90 days now but my progress is slow. It all comes down to to just doing it. I've been a little off track and your suggestion to "just start over. Do a 21 day plan." is a nugget of wisdom I can use.

One part of my 21 day plan is to spend more time on the DG site - for the opportunity to learn from the doers and also to find inspiration.
