I am on the way to the plane this morning and just read Randy's thread about not crying and it led me to post this.
I am always amazed at how people come here and talk about how bad their lives are, how this business won't work for them, how they are still broke yet have had Deans books and a free membership here, so to speak, for a year or more, how depressed they are because they can't get a realtor or seller to take them serious.
If you spend your days and nights living in the mold I listed above, then it is quite evident why no one will take you serious. Your getting into a business where the only thing that makes a deal happen is you. A seller can not sell their property if there is no buyer and the same for the realtor.
It all comes down to you and if you don't get your head out of your rear end and now, then you will remain where you are at.
Deans boos are just words on a piece of paper, They won't make you rich, they can't, they are just words. Only you can become rich.
Recently I hosted Jimmybtx and Paul Jacobi at my home in NJ. Paul is accustomed to big houses and riches because he lives in South Florida on the Ocean, however, Jimmyb is from small town Texas. I live on the same street as the rocker Bon Jovi.
I used Jon as an example of success coming from small town and how you can either make it or not.
You are not a cat, who has nine lives, you have one life and it is up to you to make it or not.
What is the difference between Dean Graziosi and you? or you and I? Carol Stinson and you, other than money? absolutely nothing. We all have the same 24 hours a day to make the best life we can.
Ask yourself this, if you keep living below the level of success you know you can have in life in your mind, then when will you rise above and live success?
I am off to Southern California for the next two weeks to look at deals and make more success. Talk to you soon.

Michael I could not have said it better! We all put our pants on one leg at a time. Get out there and make it happen! You can do it!!! I remember my first deal and everyone laughed till 20,000 rolled in! Yes I have the HUD to prove it! If I can do it you can do it! GET OUT THERE!!!!!!!!

I do like the way you speak your mind Michael. It is true you have to believe in yourself before you can have success. If you belive in your heart that you can be successful then just keep trying and you will be. I haven't done a single deal yet but I know it is going to happen. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for the wonderful and true words. I find these to be inspirational. Attitudes make or break a persons life. It's what like Dean says: reality is only your perception of it. Change your perception and you change your life. If you choose to not decide you still have made a choice. Pull your self up by your bootstraps and DO something.

If this was easy everyone would be doing it, But don,t get me wrong it it is easy if you are willing to make the sacrifice. it has been 73 hours and 27 minutes since I have slept. How many people spend this much time winning and crying saying this wont work. I guess not If you spend all your time watching TV and wondering why a check is not in the mail box.

Oh my goodness - i do ever so much appreciate the straight talk without the put downs. Its really nice to get other view points that are very direct and candid. Its called breaking it down and keeping the family members accountable. It is not necessary to be unkind. Be nice but tell it like it is. I tend to back away from unkindly ways but i love truth. I have been on this site only a short time...I have gathered so much great information it totally amazes me. Then you read the pity party stuff here and there...I think these people have good intentions just really don't have any knowledge at all in real estate. Some of them have been on here for a couple of years and still haven't done a deal. They are just dreaming and not doing.
