On July 23rd I finally got brave enough to call an agent near my home. She set an appointment to meet me on Thursday of this week. After prayer I decide to cancel the meeting and requested an listing of homes with the three criteria from the Edge 2011 program. Much to my surprise she E-mailed the list that night. The ONLY reason YOU should be scared is that you haven't LEARNED enough to go out and do it.
Once you know what you're doing, it's OK.
TRY putting together a bookcase in a box WITHOUT the proper tools and reading INSTRUCTIONS.
FOLLOW the path that has been laid.

Congrats on calling the agent. Yes, actually calling people can be a little intimidating so don't think you are the only one (others just won't admit it).
Keep at it, don't stop with just this one (1) agent and/or list of properties. Follow Dean and Matt's advice from '30 Days to Real Estate Cash' and call about ten (10) agents or so, as you are interviewing them to find someone who seems to be a good match to work with you.
