I have read all of Dean's books and just purchased the Rock Bottom Blueprint course. I got into a bad real estate investment in 2008 and had to short sale it and file for bankruptcy in 2010, so I am starting fresh all over again. I never give up and I believe I am going to make it this time. I'm divorced and my 4 children are all well educated and grown up so I am right now a full time newbee real estate investor. I love NJ and want to make it work here in Monmouth and Middlesex counties. I may go down to Ocean county in the future.
I've bought and sold about 10 of my own personal properties, did a small 3 lot subdivision 10 years ago and built 12 new houses. I am a carpenter by trade, tried college and couldn't stand all the homework. I was a home impt. contractor for several years and specialized in kitchen remodelling. I know construction of residential properties inside and out. My dad was a home builder and I fell off a roof when I was 10. I fell into the sand pile near the foundation and I didn't get hurt from the fall, just my mom's whooping when I got home. It's all fun. I've made a lot of money and I've lost or spent a lot of money, so I'm starting over again. Been bankrupt 3 times. It's a long story and I know it's all about education. Real estate isn't rocket science. There are a lot of successful people out there doing it. Many are smarter than me and some I am smarter than. The knowledge is out there to be successful and I believe the Rockbottom Blueprint course has the knowledge I need. So far I am one day into it and I am psyched to learn and move thru it. Here goes........ Jersey Jer Did I say I love NJ?
